~MY CHILD~

If I could have a lifetime wish, a dream that would come true.
I'd pray to God with all of my heart for yesterday and you.
A thousand words can't bring you back; I know because I have tried.
And neither can a million tears; I know, because I have cried.
You left behind my broken heart and happy memories too.
I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.

In Loving Memory

Our beautiful baby died Sep 22, 2009. I was 35 weeks pregnant with Adam Michael when the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck twice.
We buried his small body on Friday, Sep 25.

You are sorely missed, Adam. We love you.

28 weeks ultrasound

I had my 28 weeks ultrasound, today. The baby really did not want to cooperate - he kept turning his back to them. With all the moving, it took awhile to get him into position for a 3D ultrasound, but eventually they got him face up.

22 Week Ultrasound

Yesterday, I had my 22 week ultrasound. Everything is looking good for little “Junior”. We’re still working on a list of possible names for him. We’ve narrowed it down, but nothing definitive, yet.

The ultrasound went well, took a little over an hour. The video below is about eight minutes long. There is a great profile of the baby at five minutes, thirty.

It was pretty cool watching him moving around, swallowing, and moving his arms. He’s starting to kick strong enough that us “outsiders” can feel it. Pretty soon we’ll start seeing a hand or foot poking out, lol.

It's a .....

We had “the” ultrasound on Tuesday. You know, the one where you find out the sex of the baby. Well, as you can plainly see in the ultrasound, it’s a…. BOY!!!!

Dealing with evening sickness

My version of morning sickness developed every evening around dinnertime. I couldn't eat anything, but I was starving (and cranky) nonetheless. Things improved after I adjusted my schedule, eating big meals in the morning and lunch and something light-usually fruits, yogurt, milk shake.. — for dinner
